Bury Conservatives have confirmed four prospective candidates for next year's local elections in the borough.
Incumbents, Cllr Jackie Harris (Bury West), Cllr Roger Brown (North Manor) & Cllr Jack Rydeheard (Elton) will seek re-election next May.
Harris will have held her seat for 11 years by the time voters head to the polls, whilst Brown & Rydeheard will have both held their seats for five years.
Andrew Luxton will be the Conservative candidate in Tottington. He's previously stood for the party three times in the Elton ward and lost on each occasion.
Cllr Russell Bernstein is the other Conservative councillor up for re-election in 2026.
As Roch Valley Radio has reported previously, Bernstein is appealing the decision by the Bury Conservatives Association for him not to be selected for a second time.
It's understood Cllr Bernstein has asked for the issue to be raised directly with party chair Nigel Huddleston.
Bury Conservatives are expected to confirm further prospective candidates later this year.
