The building involved in a fire in Rochdale town centre is set to be demolished this week.
Emergency services were sent to the scene on Summer Street around mid-afternoon on Saturday.
Numerous resources from Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service (GMFRS) were deployed to the scene and continued their presence on scene yesterday as they dampened down hotspots.
Rochdale Council have begun to demolish the building.
A Rochdale Borough Council spokesperson said: "Following a fire at a building on Summer Street, the area has been made safe and, working with contractors, the process to demolish the building is underway and will be safely completed by the end of the week."
