Police have re-opened Whitehead Park in Bury after a large cordon was in place earlier.
The cordon had been in place for most of the morning, with all entrances to the park closed.
It reopened to the public just before 10am this morning (Monday).
Whitehead Park is on the junction of Ainsworth Road & Newbold Street around a mile from Bury town centre.
The nature of the incident is unclear at this stage.
Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for comment.
