Parkhills Road is currently closed in Bury following a 'serious RTA'
Deputy Leader of Bury Council, Cllr Tamoor Tariq has said one passenger remains trapped in one of the vehicles.
Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service (GMFRS) are on scene alongside colleagues from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) & North West Ambulance Service (NWAS).
A tweet from Cllr Tariq reads: "A very serious RTA on parkhills road. Emergency services have closed off the road near the parkhills junction.
"A passenger remains stuck in one of the vehicle & all possible is being done to help him by the fire service.
"Please keep clear from the area & expect increase presence"
MancTraffic say the road is blocked between Manchester Road & Brierley Street.
Traffic is heavy in the area.
Roch Valley Radio has approached GMP, GMFRS & NWAS for comment.
