BREAKING: Appeal for witnesses after man is hit by car in Rochdale

A 43-year-old man is in hospital in a stable condition after being in a collision with a car in Rochdale.

The man had been walking along Wildhouse Lane, Milnrow, at about 11:30pm last night (Friday) when he was hit by a white Mercedes.

The driver remained at the scene to call the emergency services and assist police.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.

GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit is now appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to call police on 0161 856 4741 quoting incident 3598-26/11/2021.
