A woman in her 60s has died after her body was recovered from water at Island Lodge in Tottington on Sunday evening. Police say there are no suspicious circumstances.
Emergency services were called to the Island Lodge area close to Mill Street at about 8.20pm on Sunday 28 June after reports of a body in the water.
Greater Manchester Police recovered the body of a woman aged in her 60s. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
Enquiries are continuing on behalf of the coroner.
