Police are asking for witnesses and dashcam footage after a woman in her 60s was seriously hurt in a motorway collision earlier this month.
Greater Manchester Police have issued an appeal for information following a serious collision on the M62 which left a woman in her 60s badly injured.
The crash happened at around 1.10pm on Friday 2 May between junctions 18 and 19, close to Birch services. A heavy goods vehicle collided with a car, causing significant injuries to the female driver.
She was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
A 60 year old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He also tested positive for cocaine and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Investigators are now calling for any witnesses or drivers who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time to come forward.
