Community-centred organisation Get Together After Serving CIC (GTAS) has been awarded £20,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund, allowing the group to expand its vital support for military veterans, families, and residents across Rochdale.
This funding will enable GTAS to continue its mission to improve mental and physical well-being for those who have served, while also providing new opportunities for underprivileged children and fostering stronger community connections.
GTAS, based in Rochdale, supports veterans, former public service workers, and local residents who need help. The £20,000 grant will enhance its work in several key areas:

Delivering sports, music, and mentoring opportunities for underprivileged children.

Hosting community events that bring people together and inspire lasting change.
