19-year-old man charged in connection with death of man in Bury

A 19-year-old man has charged in connection with the death of a man in Bury town centre on Saturday.

Brook Marshall-Bryne, of Prestwich Hills, Prestwich has been charged with manslaughter and affray.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court today (Tuesday 11 July 2023).

35-year-old Piotr Ludwiczak died in hospital following an incident in Bury Town Centre on Saturday (8th July)

Piotr’s family have been kept updated with the progress of this investigation and continue to be supported by officers.
