Thousands of music lovers will descend on Bury today for Glaston-Bury, the annual one day music festival in aid of Bury Hospice and other local causes. Since it began in 2008, the event has raised over £300,000 and has become one of the town’s biggest highlights of the year.
With dozens of acts performing across multiple stages, the town centre will be packed today with music lovers from morning until late.
Festivalgoers who booked online can head straight to the wristband exchange to skip the queues, while the market area is open to everyone for browsing, food and shopping.

At 4pm today, Glaston-BURY will invite crowds to honour the late Steve Rogers, better known as Steve Ferringo, alongside a number of other much-loved names. Rogers, who founded Bury’s Ferringo Fest to raise money for Macmillan and NorthCare, died in October aged 62 after battling cancer. His wife Ange had passed away in 2015, inspiring his years of charity work.

The stages are now set up and the crowds are slowly coming in to collect their tickets, we'll be broadcasting throughout the day.
