More than 9 out of 10 parents will be sending their child to their first choice of local primary school come the autumn.
And 99% have been offered a place for their child at one of their three preferred choice schools.
Emails are today being sent to all parents who applied online, and letters sent to other applicants.
Councillor Lucy Smith, cabinet member for children and young people, said: “It is great news that so many parents are getting a place for their child at their choice of school.
“Parents who are happy with their child’s school are essential in giving their young sons and daughters the best possible start on their formal education path.”
