A man has died after his car collided with a petrol station in Bury yesterday afternoon.
Greater Manchester Police are appealing for witnesses following the fatal road traffic collision.
A vehicle left the carriageway on Bury and Bolton Road and crashed into a petrol station at around 12:30pm yesterday.
The driver, an 80-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and died this morning (Thursday).
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are now investigating and is urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has footage from the area before the crash to come forward.
Officers are particularly interested in dash cam or mobile phone footage that may have captured the moments leading up to the collision.
