Mill Gate Shopping Centre has been shortlisted for a prestigious awards ceremony which will take place in the autumn.
The Bury centre has been nominated in the Customers Service Team of the Year category at the Sceptre Awards 2023, which recognises excellent of all types of teams employed within the retail industry.
The shopping centre’s team consists of more than 30 staff members including centre management, customer service, cleaning, security and maintenance, all of whom play a part in ensuring an excellent customer satisfaction.
Mill Gate’s centre manager Angela Tierney said: “We pride ourselves on our customer service to ensure that everyone who visits Mill Gate has the best possible experience. We’re obviously thrilled to have been shortlisted and fingers crossed, we may even be winners in a few months’ time!”
It has been shortlisted alongside the Trafford Centre, St Johns Liverpool, Jackson Square Shopping Centre (Bishop Stortford), Gunwharf Quays (Portsmouth), Clarks Village (Somerset) and Broughton Shopping Park (Chester).
The black tie awards evening will take place on Thursday, October 19 at Hilton London Bankside and will include a gala dinner, entertainment from a celebrity host and prizegiving. The Sceptre Awards recognise best practice and people in the shopping centre industry.
