Mill Gate Shopping Centre has revealed an exciting schedule of Christmas events ahead of the festive period.
The Bury centre, which recently won Customer Service Team of the Year at the Sceptre Awards, will have a line-up of enchanting, free family events including a snowboard simulator, Christmas workshops and an elf trail.
The festive offering is aimed at getting people to spend time together during the Christmas period.
Angela Tierney, Shopping Centre Manager said: “Christmas has always been such a magical time at Mill Gate and we are so excited about the programme of events we have planned. We want people to bring their family and friends and enjoy all that we have to offer at this time of year with activities perfect for all members of your festive group.”
The festivities begin on Sunday, November 26 when visitors will have the chance to enter the Mill Gate hall of fame by taking on the snowboard simulator between 11am and 4pm.
On the same day, shoppers can enjoy community spirit as the Bury Lantern Parade will be passing through the Mill Gate after 3.30pm on its way to Fire Installation in Kay Gardens. The event has been delivered by The Met Theatre and is brought to you by Bury BID, and is funded by the businesses in Bury town centre.
Running throughout the month of December, Mill Gate’s Winter Garden transforms into a magical selfie haven, complete with cozy seating to relax amidst the festive hustle. Every Sunday in the month, it becomes a wonderland of Christmas workshops hosted by Santa's friends.
From December 1 to December 17, guests can embark on the Christmas Elf Trail. Discover hidden letters within Mill Gate’s stores, grab a festive treat on customer services, and partake in a digital prize draw that adds a sprinkle of extra joy to holiday shopping.
The headline offering from the centre is its 12 Days of Christmas, which will see it offering giveaways through its social media platforms each day from December 1 to December 12 from a variety of the stores Mill Gate.
