Super League Basketball Cup Finals to return to Manchester in 2027

The Super League Basketball Cup Finals will return to Manchester's AO Arena in March 2027.

The Super League Basketball Cup Finals will return to Manchester's AO Arena in March 2027.

The men's and women's finals will both take place at the arena on Sunday 21 March.

It will be the second consecutive season that the AO Arena has hosted the Super League Basketball Cup Finals.

Manchester Basketball reached both the men's and women's finals when the event was held at the venue last season.

Doors will open at 12.30pm for the 2027 event, with the women's final due to start at 1.30pm and the men's final at 4pm.

Clare Holmes, Super League Basketball's head of events, said: “We're thrilled to be bringing the SLB Cup Finals back to the AO Arena for a second consecutive year. Last season's event demonstrated the incredible appetite for elite basketball in Manchester, with a fantastic atmosphere created by supporters from across the country.

“Our goal is to continue raising the bar for our major events, and we're excited to welcome fans back for another unforgettable day celebrating the very best of Super League Basketball.”

Councillor Shazia Butt, Manchester City Council's executive member for culture, leisure and libraries, said: “We're delighted to welcome the Super League Basketball Cup Finals back to Manchester and the AO Arena for 2027.

“Last season's finals demonstrated the passion that exists for basketball across our city and beyond, with Manchester Basketball reaching both the Men's and Women's Finals and thousands of fans creating an unforgettable atmosphere.”

An exclusive ticket pre-sale for SLB fans opened on Monday 10 August, with general sale due to begin on Monday 17 August.

Tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster.
