Steve Goodman, the founder of Liv's Trust has died.
The charity was set up in memory of Olivia Campbell-Hardy who was one of the 22 victims in the Manchester Arena bomb in May 2017.
A spokesperson for Liv's Trust said: "It is with great sadness that we announce that on the 9th of September suddenly the founder and chairman of the trust Steve passed away.
"We ask that you celebrate Steve’s life with love and fond memories as he would not have wanted tears.
"Steve’s happiest times were supporting the applicants of the trust and seeing them achieve their dreams.
The charity gives under twenty-fives in Greater Manchester the opportunity get help and receive education in music & dance.
Steve previously said: “We’re starting small and we hope to be able to provide musical instruments or even a pair of dance shoes for those who need them."
Just a few days ago, Steve accepted a BBC Make A Difference award for bravery on behalf of the trust. For Steve that award was a huge achievement and honour.
The trust added: "The words we choose love again ring loudly for us. We ask that our privacy is respected whilst we navigate through this difficult time."
