Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have received reports that throughout September 2022, several men have been lured to an address on Limeside in Oldham. On arrival the men were robbed at knifepoint by a group of offenders.
Detectives are investing the robbery series and are appealing for anyone with more information to come forward.
Officers have identified that robberies had occurred on 16 September, 24 September, 25 September and 1 October involving at least five victims.
Detective Sergeant Matthew Adshead of Greater Manchester Police Oldham Division said: “These are particularly violent robberies that have taken place and it is fortunate that none of the victims have been seriously hurt.
“We are pursuing multiple lines of enquiry and believe that there may be more victims out there who are as of yet unknown to us.
“We are appealing for those victims – as well as anyone who may have more information – to please come forwards. You can call our office in confidence on 0161 856 4521 asking for DS 15955 Matt Adshead or PC 17029 Charlotte Wood.”
