This morning (Tuesday 18 March 2025) police from our North Manchester Challenger Team executed a warrant at an address on Midville Road, Clayton.
Two men and a woman, aged 37, 38, and 39, were all arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs. They remain in police custody for questioning.
During a search of the property, police seized large quantities of cocaine which has an estimated street sale value of around £250,000. Police also seized over £1,000 cash and an extendable baton.
Enforcement operations like the warrants carried out today support the work officers do across the force, day in, day out, to tackle Greater Manchester’s most harmful offenders and safeguard the vulnerable people they exploit.
Detective Sergeant Jamie Heaton from our North Manchester Challenger Team, said: “The activity this morning signifies our commitment to tackling organised crime, including the supply and distribution of drugs across Greater Manchester.
“We know that arrests and seizures of this scale have a significant impact on drug dealers and their pockets. We want to get people who we suspect of crime off the streets, seize weapons and criminal cash, and get drugs out of supply before they end up in the hands of vulnerable people.
“Information from the public is vital if we are to breakdown the organised crime groups who bring misery to our streets, and I would appeal to anyone who has information to come forward. If you don’t feel comfortable coming directly to the police you can call the independent, anonymous, Crimestoppers hotline on 0800 555 111."
