A man has been charged following an arson attack at a property in Bury earlier this month, police have confirmed.
Greater Manchester Police said the charge relates to an incident at an address on South Terrace on Sunday 18th January 2026.
45-year-old Jody Lynam, of Hardfield Street in Heywood, has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Tameside Magistrates Court today.
The investigation is ongoing.
