A 100 meter cordon is in place in Bury as police respond to reports of 'suspected grenade'
The scene is in place on Rivington Drive and the Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) are in attendance.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "We are currently responding to an incident on Rivington Drive in Bury where a suspected grenade has been found.
"Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) are in attendance with a 100m cordon in place to ensure the safety of the community."
