The deadline for applications to join Dale's Club Advisory Board (CAB) is this coming Friday.
Launched earlier this month, the CAB is a new initiative which seeks to improve communication and engagement between the Club, it’s supporters and the wider community.
Comprised of Club and supporter representatives, the CAB will focus on three main areas: Communication, Engagement and Growth.
Representatives from the Club will include directors, executive management, the Club disability liaison officer and the Rochdale AFC Community Trust director.
In terms of other representatives, we are seeking to assemble a group that reflects a wide variety of our fans. We would like to ensure there is strong representation from our existing fans, as well as from traditionally under represented groups.
In particular, we are encouraging applications for the Inclusion Lead - a person who is able to represent the views of ethnically diverse supporters/potential supporters.
For the full list of fan representative roles we are seeking to fill, visit our dedicated CAB page HERE.
This page includes a more in-depth explanation of CAB and details on how you can apply to join. In the future, the page will detail who is involved on the CAB and also host the minutes of each meeting.
The CAB will meet at the Crown Oil Arena after work hours at least every two months during the season. It will also meet as and when necessary to deal with specific matters or events as they arise. In between meetings, the fan representatives will have direct access to the Club so that any pressing issues can be raised and dealt with in a timely manner.
Our search for suitable representatives is now underway. For details on the application process, which is open to anyone age 18 or older, click HERE.
The application process closes on Friday 28th February, with initial interviews set to take place the following week.
If you would like any more information on CAB, further to what is available via our dedicated web page, please email cab@rochdaleafc.co.uk.
