About The Trade Up
The Great Roch valley Trade Up is a challenge run by the show "Up For It" every Monday at 8pm where the presenters, Joe and Courtney, with the help of their producer, Matt, are looking to trade up each week from a Roch Valley Radio pen to a prize that could be won by one of YOU on the 1st of June.
The pair have till the 1st of June to trade the item they have each week for an item of greater value in the hope of securing a major prize for a lucky listener.
The Rules
It wouldn't be a fair challenge without some rules and this one is no exception!
- it must be item for item: What we mean by this is it can't be items for cash. Vouchers and gift cards are permitted but ideally an item for item trade is what we're looking for!
- You must physically own the item you're trading with: Please don't offer to trade an item if you don't have full permission for it to be gifted to someone else. Similarly, please don't offer up an item unless you are fully happy for it to be traded for the item the show currently has.
- Up For It has final say: Joe, Courtney and Matt have final say over all trades and they must be approved by the team, before completing them.

You must be comfortable with collecting the final item directly from the Roch Valley Radio studios after the draw on the 1st June.
The Trades So Far:
Item 1: The Roch Valley Radio Pen.
Joe started off with a Roch Valley Radio pen outside of Rochdale Town Hall.
Item 2: A Screwdriver Set
A gentleman on the Rochdale streets traded Joe the pen for a screwdriver set from the Discount Store in Rochdale.
Item 3: Wireless Headphones
Mobile Magic in Rochdale then donated a set of wireless headphones for the screwdriver set!
Item 3: £20 Floral Voucher From The Flower Studio in Rochdale
The Floral Studio in Lord Square kindly then traded our set of wireless headphones for a £20 voucher valid until the 2nd June!
Item 4: £30 Clothing Voucher from Butterworths in Rochdale
After an unsuccessful venture to Bury after making the mistake of visiting the closed market on a Monday, Butterworths in Rochdale Town Centre traded our floral voucher for a £30 in store voucher!
Item 5: (In Addition to the £30 Voucher) - Family of 4 Day Out To See Peter Rabbit on East Lancs Railway
East Lancs Railway kindly donated a voucher for a family of 4 to visit Peter Rabbit on a train on the 3rd or 4th April to add in addition to the £30 voucher from Butterworths, bringing a potential trade of close to £100.
