TOWIE star Jake Hall's cause of death could not be determined, inquest told

A post-mortem examination could not determine an exact cause of death for reality TV star Jake Hall, who died suddenly aged 35 last month.

The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) cast member was found dead with head injuries at a holiday villa in Mallorca following a collision with a glass door on 6 May, East London Coroner's Court was told on Tuesday.

Hall - whose funeral was held last week - was best known for his stint on TOWIE, from 2015 to 2024, and also his menswear brand By Jake Hall.

His body was repatriated to the UK but a post-mortem examination at East Ham Mortuary was unable to determine his cause of death, the inquest heard.

Area coroner Nadia Persaud asked Spanish authorities to supply the court with copies of the toxicology report, police files, and witness statements.

She also made Hall's family members "interested persons", meaning they will be able to interrogate evidence or witnesses at a future inquest.

Hall shared a daughter, River, eight, with 39-year-old Albanian model and Real Housewives of Cheshire star Beqiri.

Beqiri previously posted a lengthy social media tribute saying her heart was "shattered", and that she loved Hall from "the very first moment I saw you".

A provisional inquest date was set for 7 December.
