Man accused of murdering student in Primrose Hill appears in court

A man accused of fatally stabbing a 21-year-old in Primrose Hill has appeared in court.

Student filmmaker Finbar Sullivan died at the popular north London viewpoint on Tuesday evening.

Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, 27, of Southbury Road, Enfield, was charged with murder on Sunday.

Appearing at Stratford Magistrates' Court on Monday, Ogunyankinnu spoke to confirm his personal details.

Ogunyankinnu was remanded into custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday.

Before the end of the hearing, Ogunyankinnu told the court: "I didn't kill anybody, I didn't stab anybody, they've got the wrong person."

A 25-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender had been released with no further action, the Met Police have said.

Scotland Yard said the investigation is still ongoing.

Anyone with information or footage has been asked to contact the force.
