New Zealand's tour of South Africa to be shown live on Sky Sports as part of new five-year SANZAAR deal

South African, New Zealand, Australian and Argentina Rugby (SANZAAR) and Sky Sports have agreed a deal for international rugby rights from 2026-2030, extending an over-three-decade-long partnership.

This means Sky Sports will have exclusive access to the 'Rugby's Greatest Rivalry' tour, which will see New Zealand complete an eight-match tour of South Africa kicking off this Friday August 7.

All four Test matches against South Africa will be shown along with the four non-Test matches against club sides.

The Rugby Championship in 2027, 2028 and 2029 will also be shown alongside the Bledisloe Cup and other SANZAAR internationals in both 2026 and 2030.

In 2030, Sky Sports will also show South Africa's tour of New Zealand.

Alongside exclusive broadcast rights, fans in the UK and Ireland will also be able to catch up on all the action with clips and highlights available across Sky's digital and social platforms.

SANZAAR CEI Brendan Morris said: "SANZAAR is delighted to retain Sky Sports as a rights holder broadcaster in the UK for the next iteration of our international rugby tournaments.

"We have partnered with Sky Sports for over 25 years and rugby fans in the UK will continue to enjoy world-class action from Super Rugby Pacific, The Rugby Championship, Bledisloe Cup and additional tour matches, including this year's series between South Africa and New Zealand."

Watch New Zealand's eight-match tour of South Africa, which starts on Friday August 7, live on Sky Sports.
