Mimi Rhodes stays in Women's World Championship hunt as English golfer remains two shots off lead in Singapore

England's Mimi Rhodes remains two shots off leader Auston Kim after the second round of the HSBC Women's World Championship in Singapore.

Rhodes followed up Thursday's bogey-less 68 with a three-under 69 on Friday, carding four birdies and a lone bogey on the fourth hole, leaving her in a four-way tie for fifth at the halfway stage.

Although Kim suffered a double-bogey on the 16th hole to mitigate her five birdies earlier in her second round of 69, the American improved to nine under for the tournament to maintain her lead..

Hannah Green finished with three birdies in a row for a 66 d to move into a tie for fifth, while Angel Yin matched Lee's 64 to sit six under, three behind Kim.

World No 3, England's Charley Hull, posted a 67 on Friday, with six birdies and one bogey, to move her to five under after posting a 72 in the first round with three bogeys.

Defending champion Lydia Ko had a 72 after a challenging round that saw her end with four birdies and four bogeys to sit two under with just two rounds remaining.
