Bury Conservatives have re-vamped the office of former Bury North MP James Daly to make their office more accessible to the public.
The office signs of Mr Daly’s were taken down on the morning after the election in July of this year.
Bury North and South Association will now use the office as their base for Conservative councillors and association team.
Chairman of Bury Conservatives David Nuttall said: “The move is designed to make it easier and more accessible for people who want to contact the Association Team to drop in and speak to us.”
Bury’s Conservative group hold 10 seats on Bury Council in wards such as Radcliffe North & Ainsworth, Tottington, Pilkington Park and North Manor.
The group are opening the office to speak to the wider population of the town, whether they have a Conservative councillor in their ward or not.
Group Leader Councillor Russell Bernstein added: “The monthly surgery in the new offices will add to our existing approach of being out in individual wards every weekend. This will be held on the last Friday of each month between 11am and 1pm, except December.”
