Drivers urged to plan ahead as Sunday road closures set to impact key routes in Bury and Tottington
Residents and drivers in Bury are being warned of significant road closures and parking restrictions this weekend as the town prepares to host the Bury 10K and Mini and Junior Run.
The main event takes place on Sunday 7 September, with the majority of road closures starting from 8.30am. Some parking suspensions and waiting restrictions will also be enforced from Saturday 6 September.
Organisers say the measures are essential to ensure the safety of runners, volunteers and spectators. A number of key town centre roads and connecting routes will be affected for several hours.
