More Information (Roch Valley Radio is not responsible for external websites)

Incredible Edible Prestwich and District started in 2010 and has 9 sites growing fruit, vegetables and herbs. We have approx. 30 members and 60 volunteers. Our aim is to promote local food growing with members of the community. Our sites range across Prestwich, Radcliffe, Whitefield and Sedgley Park. This includes 2 forest gardens, numerous vegetable beds, an orchard and an allotment. They’re all tended by volunteers and new help is always welcome.

The food we grow is free to pick, and we also sell food, honey and herbs at local events. We also hold 2 large annual events at Philips Park, with Apple Day in October and Wassailing in January.

It's all fun and very fulfilling! To get involved at any site or for more information, please email: iepad.volunteers@gmail.com
