Community Hero Awards 2025
Celebrating the everyday people making a big difference in our borough
Roch Valley Radio is proud to launch the first ever Community Hero Awards, a new annual celebration of the people, groups, charities and businesses who go the extra mile to support others and strengthen our communities.
We know that across Rochdale, Bury and the wider boroughs, incredible individuals are making a real impact every single day. Whether through volunteering, caring for others, keeping our streets safe, or simply spreading kindness, and it’s time we gave them the recognition they deserve.
Now’s your chance to shine a spotlight on someone who’s made a difference in your life or neighbourhood.
How it works
You can nominate an inspiring person, team, organisation or local business in any of our 14 award categories. Nominations are open until Friday 22 August 2025.
A panel of judges will shortlist finalists in each category, and winners will be announced at a special live awards evening on Friday 26 September 2025 at the Village Hotel, Bury.
