Please come along and support our afternoon of live musical entertainment from the 60s in aid of The Christie Hospital
More Information (Roch Valley Radio is not responsible for external websites)
We’re a band of semi retired friends who play classic 60s hits (by Beatles, Cilla, Hollies, Searchers, Carole King, Neil Diamond, Frankie Valli etc) to raise money for great causes around Manchester and Bury. We support organisations such as the Lions, the Masons, National older peoples day, Army veterans , the mayoral ball etc
Our line up of instruments is unusual and includes strings - we are more like a “Bacharach style ensemble” than a 60s band. All our arrangements are written by our keyboard player Angela who is a well known local piano teacher
We’re having an afternoon of live music - 2 sets of music by the band, a guest choir, a raffle, a speaker from the Christie and a home cooked buffet - and there will be a bar available
A great way to celebrate Fathers Day!
St Michael’s Hall, Ribble Drive, Whitefield at 4pm
Tickets in advance - please call 07940 420902 or book through The Christie website
We look forward to seeing you!
